PURPOSE IN THE PAIN
®
We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit ministry purposed to sharing the love of Christ, hope, and encouragement to women through their pain.
Unmanaged pain can hinder a woman's confidence and ability to experience the fullness of life and pursue purpose.
Our mission is to uplift and empower women to seek the Lord through their struggles and fulfill His purpose for their lives. We accomplish this through blogs, individual and group support, community engagement, and various resources designed to foster spiritual growth.

Our Founder
I'm a mother, a daughter, a U.S. Air Force Veteran, and a Woman of God who has had my share of pain. I have faced battles with Endometriosis, Fibromyalgia, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and the effects of an emotionally toxic relationship, all of which impacted my sense of identity and self-worth. But, with Christ as my strength, that pain no longer defines me - I am renewed in Him!
"Overcoming pain has birthed a purpose and passion for supporting other women toward healing and wholeness."
I'm a Christian Life Coach and Christian Care Counselor. I hold a Graduate Certificate in Pastoral Counseling and a Masters in Christian Care. I am pursuing a DMin in Discipleship.
READ SHONTEL'S TESTIMONY

is to be a vessel of encouragement by:
believe in the healing
power of Jesus Christ
find comfort in knowing God can use their pain to propel them to their destiny
believe that they
are fearfully and
wonderfully made
rest assured that they
are not defined by
their pain or alone
on this journey

“I remember feeling alone, at times, when I was in the midst of my storm. I would search social media for inspirational posts and comfort from women who had experienced similar or the same challenges as me. My true healing journey began once I developed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. My mindset renewed, and I found my strength through Him. My prayer is that this ministry will bring hope to women suffering through chronic pain. I pray that each woman will believe their season of pain does not dictate or hinder God's divine purpose for their lives. May this site propel women to become the best versions of themselves.”
