Thank You, Lord!

Hallelujah!!

I thank God for His matchless love for us. He loves us so much that He gave His only begotten Son to die for us, that we may have eternal life (John 3:16). God sent His son into the world so that we may be saved (3:17). Jesus died on the cross for our sins, our freedom, and He rose from the dead to offer new and abundant life to those who follow Him. No matter what we have endured or currently facing, nothing is too much for Jesus. He is a healer, a way maker, a sustainer, a provider, a fortress, a friend, a father, a counselor, a guide, and a Savior. I thank Him for saving me, freeing me, and for a renewed life in Him as a new creation (2 Cor. 5:17). The spiritual faith journey is not always easy, but it's worth it. I don't know anything more rewarding than living life with Christ. Isn't it amazing that no matter what we have done in life – the good and/or the bad – Jesus wants us to welcome Him in? Revelation 3:20 says, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him and he with Me" I am forever grateful for His love. I'm sure we have all experienced situations where contingent on what we've done, been around, have experienced, or bring to the table dictates a person's loyalty in our lives and whether they'd be standing at our door and waiting for us to let them in. But God is faithful! It is man/the world who loves conditionally, but God's love is unconditional!

Before I gave my life to Christ, I remember thinking I wasn't pure enough to come to the Lord. I felt I had to have it all together before I fully surrendered my life to Him. I very desperately NEEDED Him, and I wanted Him as I knew He was the way. However, I still thought, "God don't want me and my mess." But it was Him alone that changed my mess into a blessing. I'm reminded of this quite frequently when I reflect on how things could've gone. But I'm incredibly grateful on resurrection day as we celebrate His rising, and overcoming death for us. He is such a good and compassionate Father! And it is through Him that we can be overcomers too!

He is a God of grace, mercy, kindness, joy, faithfulness, tenderness, comfort, correction, transformation, and love…. I can go on and on and on about His greatness. I truly pray that you are basking in it, too. There is no greater love.
